LET’S TALK ABOUT MY “WHY”
Connection is one of my deepest desires as a photographer and videographer.
As a documenter, I want you to feel a genuine connection and comfort when you step in front of my camera, creating a deeper bond with each of my couples. This resulted in photographs with personality – photographs that captured your true story. That rush of emotion you feel when you look back at these memories, the kind of captures that takes you right back to that very moment, that's what I want you to feel when you look at your photos and videos.
Just like you, I document everything. All the big moments, and all the precious in-betweens. The 20,000+ photos on my phone are an indicator of the memories that I hold close.
As much as we all love taking our own photos during daily life, there’s nothing like having a professional photographer capture them for you. You get to see yourself and your relationships from the outside and in such a stunning way. I photograph the way I would want someone to photograph me, capturing ALL the photos, building connection, incorporating joy, laughter and how people really are together. I aim to create an experience during my sessions, while specializing in bright, vibrant images that showcase you and the nature that surrounds you.

THE VALUE of
A PHOTOGRAPH
I watched my Oma lose her memory over 8 years.
This was a major transformative moment in my life that has shaped who I am and why I do what I do. In 2008, my Oma developed a sudden case of Alzheimer’s where she lost the majority of her memory.
When she moved into a home, my entire family chose photos of the family to hang on her walls, to help her remember her history. It was so cool to see her when she was in her 20’s, walking hand in hand with my Opa after World War 2. There were also photos with her and her 4 babies (my mom), and again years later with her grandkids. Each photo told a story. Her life was all around her.
In April of 2019, she passed away peacefully with family surrounding her. At the funeral, I made a slideshow of photos throughout her life. One thing I realized was the lack of photos I had with her. Each picture we had together brought all my memories back from those days together, but sadly there were so few.
I always valued photographs, but this was when I realized the immense value they brought. With each photos, I could go back to that day and feel what it felt like to be with her. Photographs tell life stories, share family memories, showcase the best of days, bring on all the nostalgia. Photos and videos last forever.

Travel has a way of connecting me with amazing people and fresh perspectives, and it constantly inspires how I see the world through my camera. It’s about more than just new places—it’s the feeling, the nostalgia, and the little moments that make each experience unforgettable. Photography lets me capture those emotions, turning them into something you can hold onto forever. Whether it’s a stunning landscape or a fleeting glance between two people, I love finding the magic in every scene.

WHERE I’M FROM + WHERE I’VE BEEN...
The photos I have with my parents are some of the most meaningful things I own. They remind me of their love, their support, and the countless little moments that shaped who I am – that connection is what drives me to capture the relationships between couples and their loved ones. I know how powerful a single photo can be—how it can hold a feeling, a memory, a bond that words can’t always express. That’s why I focus on documenting the way a parent looks at their child, or an embrace that says more than words ever could. Because long after the wedding day is over, these are the moments that truly last.

Friendships and relationships are what make life feel full—whether it’s playing sports, exploring new places, or simply sharing a moment of laughter. The best memories are often made with the people who know us best, the ones who bring energy, adventure, and meaning to our lives. When I photograph people with their friends, I think about those connections—the inside jokes, the unspoken bonds, the shared experiences that make life unforgettable. Capturing those relationships isn’t just about a picture; it’s about preserving the moments that make life truly worthwhile.
