Personal Branding Example: JR Real Estate In Port Alberni
When it came to my client Jack Roland, a Real Estate Agent in Port Alberni, he wanted his brand to showcase who he was along with the beauty of the area. When it comes to real estate agents, oftentimes their branding is them standing in front of a house in a fancy suit or in front of a white wall. It was always trendy to be clear, and very ‘professional’ looking, or even a bit luxurious.
But Jack wanted his branding to stand out and encourage his potential clients to get to know, like, and trust him. So for his branding photoshoot we headed to the ocean to showcase that you can fish every day here. Port Alberni is right on the water so he wanted to show people all of the great things that the area had to offer. Then we headed to Sprout Lake to show the houses along the lake. We showed how this is a place where you could live and drive only ten minutes to the lake in the summer. And in general we showcased as much of the local area as possible including the best cafes, best streets, and the epic mountain views from the middle of the town.
Lastly, we wanted to make sure that Jack’s personality really shined through in his branding. Ever since Jack was a young boy, he has played the fiddle and is seriously talented with both the fiddle and guitar. We made sure to film this as well! This way, Jack can share some of his many talents along with the breathtaking views of Mexico.

And all three of these platforms mainly focus on video content so this should be a must for you when working on your branding. Video content is truly one of the best ways to stand out because people are typically more drawn to videos and may take more time to watch a video rather than scroll through photos. And it is MUCH easier to really allow your personality to shine and help your stand out in video content.
