L & K were so much fun during their Upland Park (Victoria, BC) engagement photoshoot during sunset. These two are so in love and it really shows in the photos! We chose to do their engagement photos at Upland Park because it was springtime so there was tons of long grass with a bunch of flowers. Upland Park Engagement Photos
L & K’s Upland Park engagement photos were very much like a storytelling session. I wanted them to feel like they were on a date and that I wasn’t really even there. That’s a big thing I like to push with my clients.
Instead of being all nervous about getting your photos taken, just treat it like a date night out. I want to capture your real and genuine laughs and smiles!
L & K were super nervous about being in front of the camera because they had a friend take a few quick engagement photos where they felt a bit awkward. So I knew at this photoshoot I wanted to make sure they felt super comfortable. These two are so madly in love and I really wanted that to show in the photos. Throughout the whole photoshoot, I was hyping them up and they were just giggling and having the best time. I think this really helped them bring their own energy and made them feel super comfortable right off the bat.
I basically had L & K hanging out the whole evening and just running around and dancing with each other. They were spinning each other around, kissing, running around, and dipping each other.
More Photos At Willows Beach
After taking tons of photos at Upland Park, we headed down to Willows Beach in Victoria BC and found this little corner tucked away that was super private. I capture some more photos of them as the sun was setting behind them. The sky was so stunning with all different shades of pink and purple. And to make the backdrop even better, it was overlooking all the sailboats and a bit of the city. Truly the most perfect backdrop!
Then they popped some champagne to celebrate their engagement and those are always so much fun! Then I let them run around one last time together and I captured some blurry photos which I really love!
